Two AliBarBar models - the UPLOAD 25000 and Ice Adjust 12000 - recharge over USB-C. The Swirl 50000, INGOT 9000 and Pandora 7000 are non-rechargeable: their battery is built to outlast the e-liquid, so there is nothing to charge. Here is how to charge the two that do.
1. Find the USB-C port on the base of the device. 2. Plug in a USB-C cable from an ordinary 5V phone charger or a computer's USB port. 3. The indicator light or the on-screen battery icon will show it charging. 4. Unplug when it reads full - typically 20 to 40 minutes depending on the model and how flat it was.
Use a standard 5V phone charger and a decent USB-C cable. Avoid high-wattage fast chargers and laptop power bricks - a disposable's small cell is not built for them - and don't leave a device charging unattended or overnight. Charge it on a hard surface, not on a bed or couch.
You are recharging the battery only. AliBarBar disposables are sealed and cannot be topped up with e-liquid. When the flavour fades and vapour thins out - or the FL gauge reads empty - the device has reached the end of its life, no matter how full the battery is.
Work through the simple causes first: try a different cable, then a different port or charger, then wipe the USB-C contacts with a dry cloth. Cheap or damaged cables are far and away the most common cause. If the device still shows nothing on a known-good cable and charger, and the e-liquid isn't spent, it may be a faulty unit - get in touch with us and we'll sort it out. Blinking during use, on the other hand, usually just means the battery is low or you've taken too many puffs in quick succession and the protection has paused it for a few seconds.
Don't bin a dead device with household rubbish - it contains a lithium cell. Take it to a battery or e-waste drop-off point, which most Australian councils and many supermarkets and electronics retailers provide.
